The Youngblood Family

The Youngbloods are wonderful volunteers for Friends of Pets.  They've assisted in so many ways including serving as foster parents for cats that are waiting to find everlasting homes.

Most recently, they spent a couple hours assisting with filming of a public service announcement that was 'in action' at the studio yesterday thanks to Sprocketheads, Friends of Pets and Anchorage Animal Care and Control.

The PSA, and another one called 'The real housecats of Anchorage' will begin airing in Anchorage this spring.

Thank you, everyone.  I'm really excited to see the final product.  I have no doubt that it will be award-winning - much like the last series you created together.

Lucy.

Lovely Lucy still gets excited when you utter the words Moose & Kitty.  Her nose triggers sweet hound songs with the slightest whif of jerky treats.  Make eye-to-eye contact and she owns your heart.  Lucy's humans have been hypnotized by her for 13-years.

Lucy is a very lucky and happy dog.  She and her family definitely bring a big smile to my face.

Cameras, Lights .... Community Action!

The was the scene at the Jensen house and studio today as the absolutely amazing film crew of Sprocketheads worked to create footage that will be used in a series of Public Service Announcements designed to increase the awareness of spay and neuter programs in Anchorage.  The PSAs, also filmed on-location at my studio, will also promote cat adoptions.  Filming and photography required about eight hours of time.  Everyone donated their services.

The two productions will hopefully air this spring.  They're the result of a collaboration between Friends of Pets, Anchorage Animal Care and Control and David Jensen Photography.

I'm so proud of how well everyone teamed up to make this happen.  Now, Sprocketheads will work behind the scenes to do post production.  I've already heard the audio for this series ... it is simply fantastic.

Thank you everyone.  What a way to make a positive difference with cat and dog overpopulation in Anchorage.

Napolean, Pasha and their favorite people.

So much happening this week.  So many awesome and amazing collaborations.

Napolean and Pasha were a part of my awe!  These two Maltese posed like angels.  Inside, outside, with a real moose ... they did it ALL!

Thank you for spending time with me at the studio everyone.  You were a lot of fun. We made some wonderful portraits together.
