The Murakami Family

The Murakami Family's visit to the studio was a renunion of sorts. I photographed them several years ago. And I photographed Jeff for his high school senior portraits about five years ago.

Jeff has graduated from college since then (with a bachelor's degree in Psychology).

We switched out backgrounds for several poses inside the studio before stepping outside into the studio park. The fall colors and light were beautiful once again. Perfect for a nice series of portraits that the Murakami's plan to send out during the holidays.

Brittany. Heritage Class of 2010

What a beautiful fall day in the park today with Brittany! The studio was just too confining with the sunshine and another spectacular sunny day waiting outside.

Most of the portraits of Brittany were created at Ruth Arcand park off of Abbott Road. The falling leaves and colors offered a calming and relaxing feeling to the session - bringing out amazing expressions, style and personality. Way to go, Brittany!!! You're beautiful.

Liam and Darcy. A class of their own!

It was all for dogs this morning with Liam and Darcy. These Irish Wolfhounds were adorable, active and soooo...... photogenic!

Jordan and Kelsey were on hand behind the scenes to help with wrangling and lighting.

I've photographed Liam before. This was a first for Darcy. Liam is about 135lbs. Darcy, at seven months old, is still growing! It was a hoot watching both chase each other at a moment's notice.

Heather - Service HS Class of 2010

My job is too much fun. It was livened up even more with Heather today.

A 2010 senior, Heather is a percussionist with the Service High School Swing Band and Symphonic Band. She's also performing with the Anchorage Youth Symphony.

Sometimes you might see her as a Renaissance Gypsy (Lilianya) or performing a little Shakespeare.

And today, she starred in front of my lens. Way too much fun.

Thank you Heather. I'm still smiling from our session today.
